  • E. If you have a mortgage, talk to your mortgage company to find out if your mortgage is portable, are there any costs to discharge or transfer it to your next home and what the costs will be to discharge it.

  • G. Establish a TOP selling price for your home;

  • H. Put your house on the open market so that everyone that is looking for a home like yours will come to see it.

  • A. List your homes’ features and what work you have done to the home since you lived there; (form to be either filled out on line or downloaded or to download the form for the client to fill it out on their own)

MAKING A GREAT FIRST IMPRESSION IS IMPORTANT

Curb Appeal: Let the buyer be impressed with what they see first, make the front of your home welcoming!

REARRANGING: The furniture to make rooms more spacious can help.

CLEAN UP: Buyers want to see how great your home looks.

FIX dripping faucets, sticky doors or drawers and replace any burnt out lights so that the buyers will remember how well your home functions.

MAKE CLOSETS SPACIOUS: Organized closets will appear larger. Box up any unwanted items, keep the basement, the front hall and garage free of any clutter or visual distractions.

MAKE THE KITCHEN & BATHROOMS SPARKLE: They sell homes. Clear the counters, repair damaged caulking in the sinks, tubs and showers. Display your best towels, mats and shower curtains.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

The MLS Listing Agreement:
Is the contract between you and the REAL ESTATE COMPANY that the agent represents. It is the framework for subsequent forms and negotiations. It’s important that the agreement accurately reflects your home’s features, and clearly spells out the rights and obligations of all parties and what is included and excluded with the house. It will show the price and describe all of the details about your home and what you will be leaving with it.

This also allows US to work with all other REAL ESTATE COMPANIES through our MLS® system to maximize the exposure of your home and get you the best price.

There is much more involved to selling your home which I will explain to you when we meet.

Once you receive an acceptable written offer to buy your home then it will be sold. That will be acceptable to you. Your home is now sold.
